PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (Honours) (BCA), a three-year UGC-recognised undergraduate degree program from the School of Computing Sciences offered at The Assam Kaziranga University, provides students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science, information technology, and applications of computer systems in various domains. The programme includes practical training components, such as lab sessions, programming assignments, and projects. Students get hands-on experience writing code, developing software applications, and solving real-world problems. The programme prepares students for a successful career in the ever-expanding technology sector, providing them with a strong foundation in computer science and practical skills to thrive in the digital world.
NOTE: Student will have an option to exit at the end of 6th semester(3yrs) to obtain a degree in Bachelor of Computer Applications

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must fulfil the following norms.

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination in Science / Arts / Commerce with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for reserved category) preferably with Computer Science/ Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or must have completed a diploma in CSE/IT/Any Engineering Branch from AICTE recognized Institute. Students should have English as their compulsory subjects
