PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The School of Engineering & Technology at The Assam Kaziranga University provides an AICTE-approved B.Tech (ME) programme. This programme is conducted in association with prestigious industry and academic partners such as AGIIT, MTAB, Siemens, Bosch, TAL Brabo, and IMTMA. The programme features a comprehensive and industry-aligned curriculum, incorporating inputs from the mentioned partners. Students enrolled in this programme have the valuable opportunity to undergo specialised technology domain training for 2 - 3 months in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Mumbai. This training is provided by reputed training partners at SIEMENS, enhancing the likelihood of better job prospects for the students. The programme also emphasises preparing students for competitive exams such as GRE, GATE, TOEFL, CAT, and MAT, enabling them to pursue higher studies in prestigious National/International Universities. For students studying mechanical engineering, there are three subjects focused on cutting-edge technologies scheduled for the 5th, 6th, and 7th semesters. These subjects are aligned with a 2-month real-time internship at AGIIT, MTAB in Chennai, and IMTMA, Siemens in Pune and Mumbai, providing valuable placement assistance to the students.
