PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The School of Engineering & Technology at The Assam Kaziranga University offers the B.Tech programme in Electrical Engineering, which is approved by AICTE and conducted in collaboration with SIEMENS. The programme features a comprehensive and industry-aligned curriculum with faculty input from SIEMENS. Students enrolled in this programme have an excellent opportunity to undergo specialised technology domain training for 2 - 3 months in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Mumbai, facilitated by reputed training partners at SIEMENS. This exposure significantly enhances their chances of securing better job opportunities. Additionally, the programme places significant emphasis on preparing students for competitive exams like GRE, GATE, TOEFL, CAT, and MAT, enabling them to pursue higher studies in prestigious National/International Universities. For students studying Electronics and Communication Engineering, the programme includes three subjects related to premier technologies in the 5th, 6th, and 7th semesters. These subjects are aligned with a 2-month real-time internship at SIEMENS in Mumbai, providing valuable placement assistance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must fulfil the following norms.

  • Passed 10+2 Examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as one of the subjects. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category).
