The Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) (BSW) programme at The Assam Kaziranga University is a 4-year undergraduate degree that offers a comprehensive education in the field of social work. It is designed to prepare students for professional practice as social workers, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and values required to address social issues and promote social justice. Graduates with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) degree are prepared for a wide range of career opportunities, including Social Worker in Government Agencies, Community Organizer, and Healthcare Social Worker. The programme nurtures compassionate and skilled professionals who are committed to empowering individuals and communities, creating positive social change, and building a more just and inclusive society.
NOTE: Student will have an option to exit at the end of 6th semester(3yrs) to obtain a degree in Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)
