TAL BRABO India's first indigenous robot is the best platform to learn and understand the best practices in manufacturing Industry.With a payload of 10 kg it has a number of skill sets such as pick and place and vision inspection.It provides a classroom experience that enables students to get hands-on- learning experience in robotic automation technology and is designed to impart students with practical knowledge of principles and operations of industrial robot used in different manufacturing processes.It also helps to reduce the gap between industry and academia by training the incoming workforce to work with industrial robots.
The KU Centre of Excellence provides access to learning hands-on skills in Pneumatics with a goal to create a highly employable workforce. There are facilities for training students (both internal and external) by industry certified professionals on Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Embedded Sensor Technology as well as PLC Programming. For programming, Siemens TIA Portal is utilised.The trainer kits for Hydraulics and Pneumatics are from Bosch and Siemens India Ltd.

CAD/CAM automatically generates NC part programming. CAD/CAM applications are used to both design a product and program manufacturing processes, specifically, CNC machining. CAM software uses the models and assemblies created in CAD software, like Fusion 360, to generate toolpaths that drive machine tools to turn designs into physical parts. Here in The Assam Kaziranga University we provide the latest and advance knowledge to work on integrated technology in Manufacturing Industries for production.
3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. 3D printing enables you to produce complex shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods. 3D printers can easily and quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using three-dimensional Computer aided design (CAD) data. Students can easily design and analyse any kind of shapes with the help of a 3D printer. Students can also create final prototypes with a high level of finish suited for display. Currently in Centre of Excellence lab of The Assam Kaziranga University we have three Ender-3 3D printers of different sizes and one small 3D printer for making smaller parts.
Embedded System is a combination of computer software and hardware which is either fixed in capability or programmable. An embedded system can be an independent system or it can be a part of a large system. An embedded system is a microcontroller or microprocessor based system which is designed to perform a specific task.
An embedded systems engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and managing embedded systems in products. They work collaboratively with developers and provide technical assistance to clients and other departments. Embedded systems engineers also create and maintain documentation of projects and procedures.
The IBM Centre of excellence lab is equipped with high end Software resources of Virtualization environment: VMWARE, Virtual BOX, Hyper V, KVM and Analytical softwares: Tableau, Pentaho, R studio. The OS flavor in each system are Windows 10, Windows 7, UBUNTU, CentOS. The Private cloud infrastructure with Openstack and EsXi Server and AWS. There are 40 systems with Intel i5(8 CPU), 12 GB RAM, 1TB HDD and 1 Workstation with HP Intel Xeon processor, 16 GB RAM and 500 HDD. This center has the facility of testing and performance analysis of software application in different guest Oss and Hypervisors environment using Stress and Glance tool.

Data Science is an emerging multidisciplinary science with immense potential. To carry out Multidisciplinary Research at KU, the Data Science Centre was inaugurated at KU on 13th August, 2022 in collaboration with IFSA Banglore. The center is designed for academic research support in Science, Technology, Engineering, Humanities, Social Science, Health Schools, and Management.
