Career Highlights & Awards:
Research Expertise: Conducted research on oil spill detection and monitoring using GIS and RS, and deep learning methods and submitted my thesis titled “CNN-based Oil Spills Detection and Trajectory Modelling using Geospatial Techniques” during my Ph.D. at NIT Silchar. I conducted research on soil erosion and completed my thesis titled “Soil Erosion Risk Assessment using GIS: A case study in Manipur” during my M. Tech program at NIT Manipur.
Technical Proficiency: Possess advanced skills in ArcGIS, QGIS, MATLAB, Python, SNAP, and GNOME, acquired through hands-on projects, coursework, and professional development programs.
Teaching Experience: Served as a Teaching Assistant at NIT Silchar, delivering tutorials on Remote Sensing & GIS, Water Resources, Hydrology, Strength of Materials, etc. during my Ph.D.
