Achievements and Awards

Undergone a practical training in two phases, i.e. from 24th June 2007 to 14th July 2007 and from 2nd January 2008 to 20th January 2008 at the Chandraprabha Eye Hospital, Jorhat, Assam, under the guidance of Dr. Narayan Bordoloi, Managing Director.
Attended training at the B.N.R. Hospital, kolkata.
Attended seminars on Contact lenses at the Rotary Narayan Eye Hospital. Kolkata
Internship at Sri Sankardeva Nethralaya, Guwahati, Assam for one year from 1st August, 2009 to 31st July 2010 as partial requirement for fulfilment of 4-year B. Optom. degree of WBUT, West Bengal.
Completed Masters Research on Association between level of Awareness and Patient Compliance during soft Contact Lens wear as partial requirement for fulfilment of 2 year M. Optom Degree of Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Maharashtra. Accepted as a poster presentation in the American Academy of Optometry,2013.
Attended various eye screening camps in rural and urban areas of Pune, Maharashtra, including camps for children with various syndromes, intellectually disabled, deaf and dumb, etc.
