Since its inauguration on January 26, 2023, the NSS cell has served as a catalyst for holistic student development, encouraging participation in impactful activities. Notable initiatives include the Meri Maati Mera Desh Campaign on August 26, 2023, which promoted environmental awareness and patriotism. The NSS Foundation Day Celebration on September 22 further highlighted the importance of community service.
On October 1, 2023, the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign against Climate Change mobilized students for cleanliness drives, emphasizing sustainability. The Amrit Kalash Yatra on October 13 involved collaboration with NCC and various university clubs to promote cultural and environmental consciousness.
The World Soil Day Celebration on December 5, 2023, organized in partnership with The Assam Climate Change Management Society and School of Social Sciences raised awareness about soil health and its significance.
