Dr. Bhaswati Borgohain, Assistant Professor of the School of Sciences at Assam Kaziranga University, was invited as a resource person to deliver a talk on the Sociology of Northeast India at Testo College, Nagaland, on October 18, 2024. In her presentation, Dr. Borgohain highlighted the history and growth of sociology in the northeastern region. She also addressed themes such as vernacularization, indigenization, and the relevance of contemporary methodologies while discussing the sociology of this region. Nearly 100 participants attended the talk and benefited from Dr. Borgohain's insightful deliberation.
