KU NCC organized world water day
Event: World Water Day 2023

Venue: SET Seminar Hall, The Assam Kaziranga University
The KU NCC unit organized World Water Day on 22nd March, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 pm.The theme for World Water Day 2023 is “Accelerating Change” to solve the water and sanitation crisis. We would like to organize an awareness campaign to encourage people to take action in their own lives to change the way they use, consume and manage water. The chief guest for the event was the Commanding Officer of 51 Assam Air (T) Sqn NCC G Ponmurugan Sir. The following events were conducted by the KU NCC Cell.

- Awareness Rally in the campus with banners and placards by the NCC

Cadets who participated in Extempore Speech Competition are Cdt Irshad Alam, Cdt Lachit Lahan, Cdt Lakshmi Sinha , Cdt Tinamoni Gogoi, Cdt Amarjyoti Gogoi and Sagar Tamang. The winners of this competition are

- 2nd position- Cdt Lakshmi Sinha (School of Pharmacy)
- 3rd position- Cdt Amarjyoti Gogoi (School of Computing Sciences)
