On Thursday, March 28th, 2024, the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) cell of The Assam Kaziranga University (KU), Jorhat, collaborated with ASTEC, Guwahati, and the School of Basic Sciences of KU to successfully conduct a one-day workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights" (IPR). This workshop was funded and facilitated by the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council, Department of Science, Technology, and Climate Change, Government of Assam (ASTEC). Dr. Nabajyoti Saikia, the Coordinator of the IPR Cell-KU (also serving as the Dean of the School of Basic Sciences), and Dr. Dimpal Jyoti Mahanta, the Secretary of the IPR Cell-KU (also the Head of the Department of Mathematics), coordinated and organized the event respectively. The primary objective of the workshop was to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of intellectual property rights (IPRs).
