The School of Engineering and Technology & the School of Computing Sciences conducted an extensive Induction and Orientation Program DEEKSHARAMBH-2024 for the incoming students of 2024-25 B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA and MCA from 21^st August to 28^th August, 2024.The primary goal of this program was to acclimate the new students to the academic environment, infrastructural facilities, faculty, staff, curriculum, programs, opportunities, ecosystem and various support systems available at the University for the Overall Holistic Development. It was a noble approach initiated by SET and SCS to make the newcomers feel contented in the new atmosphere, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with their fellow students, seniors and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self-exploration. It was a well-planned event to educate the new entrants about the environment of the university and connect them with the KU fraternity.

I would like to thank each one of you, the resource persons of various events, all the HODs, Induction Program Coordinator Mrs. Mousoomi Bora, Department-wise Induction Coordinators, Freshmen Faculty Coordinators, Student Volunteers and every member who has supported us directly or indirectly for enriching the students and making this program a grand success.
