1. Objective: "Without mathematics, there's nothing you can do. Everything around you is mathematics". Mathematics is an amazing and beautiful intellectual creation, one of the deepest endeavours of the human race. The present workshop was organized with an objective to enhance the basic mathematics skill for the students of Basic Science. This workshop will also give a chance to the participants to interact with the speakers from prestigious institutions, faculty members and students of the department of mathematics of the Assam Kaziranga University.
2. Speakers: The Workshop had a record of three speakers, all eminent experts in the field of mathematics. The details of speakers and their delivery topics as follow: Dr. Gautam Kalita, Assistant Professor, IIIT, Guwahati (Title: Number Theory in Cryptography ) Mr. Sarfraz Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat (Title: Basics of differentials equation and their application in biological Sciences) Dr. Manjil Saikia, Postdoctoral Research Associate, Cardiff University, UK (Title: Basics of permutations and graph theory using games)
3. Participants: We have received huge responses from students across the World. Total 750 participants have registered from 11 different countries named Nepal, Sri lanka, Philippines, Oman, Kenya, Iligan City, Liverpool, Bangladesh, Thailand, Nigeria and India. Around 600 candidates participated.
