The School of Social Sciences organised a workshop on Participatory approaches of Project Management as a part of the Add-on course it provides to its social work students on Project Management. The two-day workshop focused on the various stages of the project cycle and ways of involving local stakeholders. Learning the evolution of Participatory Rural Appraisal as a method and putting it to use while writing project proposals were the highlights of the workshop. The students were also given the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning through the preparation of social and resource mapping, seasonal calendar and yearly timelines.
The event also involved formalising the partnership with NEADS as a knowledge partner and fieldwork agency setting through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU). The parties involved hope for a fruitful collaboration ahead.
