Kaziranga University welcomed the freshers with an induction programme which was attended by students of all six schools (SET, SOB, SSS, SCS, SHS and SBS).  The induction programme was held on the 19^th of August, 2019. The morning session was held for the students of The School of Social Sciences, The School of Business and The School of Health Sciences while, the afternoon session was held for the remaining schools, namely, The School of Engineering and Technology, The School of Basic Sciences and The School of Computing Sciences.

The program was held in the university auditorium, the dignitaries on the dais were Sri Basant Khetan, Pro Chancellor, Kaziranga University, Dr. P.K Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Kaziranga University, Rainy Khetan, Director Kaziranga University, Prof. Tarun Kumar, Registrar, Kaziranga University, Dr. Ashok Kayal, Dean, School of Health Sciences, Kaziranga University, and the esteemed guest speakers for the morning sessions were Dr. Milind Dalvi, Dean, Times Pro, Mr.Atul Bhatnagar, Former COO, NSDC , Sri Shantikam Hazarika, Founder Director,AIM, Mr. Sanjay Bahadur, Principal Director (Investigation) (HQ),  NER, Income Tax Department.  The students were enriched with the motivational words and technical knowledge of the guests.

For the afternoon session, the guest speakers were Mr. Viqaruddin Surki, Team Leader, IBM India Pvt Ltd, Dr.Srimathy Kesan, Founder and CEO, Spacekids India. The students were also engaged in a generic presentation by Mr. Bobby Roy, Dean, Admissions, Kaziranga University. The students were inspired by the sessions, Dr. Srimathy Kesan, and her enthusiasm about achieving dreams and goals, left the students with the zeal to learn and make the most of their years to come in Kaziranga University.

With the plethora of do's and don'ts, the breadth and scope of avenues to take up, the thought provoking speeches and the motivational sessions, the students were equipped with the necessary gear that shall enable them to make the most out of the Kaziranga University experience with the hope of leading successful lives thereafter.
