Pre – Diwali was celebrated on campus with full zest. Open stage was set up for all to perform and showcase their talent. Singing and Dancing were also the part of the activities. Also an event called "Light up Diwali" was organized where each team were supposed to make some Diwali decoration by painting Diya's, making Rangoli, Origami etc. The participants were from each school of the Assam Kaziranga University along with faculty & staff members. The judge of the event/ competition was the Registrar – Dr. (Prof.) Diganta Munshi. The teams were divided into two categories: "the students' and the faculty and staff." The winners were The School of Social Sciences in the student category and the winner of the faculty and staff members' category were The School of Basic Sciences and Marketing & Admission Team. Overall, these events were lighthearted and everyone enjoyed it.
On 4th November 2021, Diwali was celebrated virtually were students were asked to choose a painting surface, such as a shirt, a Diya, a piece of paper, a pebble or even a canvas! To bring out the spirit of colour. The winner of the competition were:
