Brief Report of the Event (Paragraph Format)

On the occasion of Swahid Divas, a district-level commemorative programme was organized by the Office of the District Commissioner (Administration Branch), Jorhat, Government of Assam at Jorhat Stadium on 10th December 2025 to honor the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs of the Assam Agitation. The programme aimed to pay tribute to the brave souls who laid down their lives for the cause of Assam and to instill a sense of patriotism, unity, and social responsibility among citizens, especially the youth. Students and faculty members from The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat actively participated in the event with great discipline and enthusiasm, representing the institution with pride and dignity.
