The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat was invited for the World Summit 2020 on "Peace, Security and Human Development" held in Seoul from 3rd to 8th February, 2020. Dr P. K. Mishra, Vice Chancellor of Kaziranga University participated in the aforesaid conference as Guest of Honour representing Kaziranga University. Dr Mishra also represented Kaziranga University at World University Presidents' Congress (WUPC) on the topic "Role of the University in the Next 100 years and the Peace of Humankind" held in Sun Moon University, Seoul from 4th to 5th February, 2020; the event being hosted by Sun Moon University and Asia University Federation(AUF). The World Summit 2020 was sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) as part of its ongoing World Summit series promoting interdependence, mutual prosperity and universal values. The summit invites a highly selective group of delegates which include world leaders in different fields from around the world, and provides them with a platform to share their wisdom and insight so as to build a world of mutual understanding, sustainable peace and prosperity for all. It is indeed a matter of pride for the entire Kaziranga University fraternity to be invited for such a prestigious global summit.
