In a significant move to advance academic and scientific collaboration, School of Pharmacy, The Assam Kaziranga University and Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat have officially formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The ceremony took place at RFRI, Jorhat on 2/08/2024, underscoring a commitment to mutual growth, innovation and student development.

The signing ceremony, attended by key representatives from both organizations, namely Dr.N. Kulkarni (Director RFRI, Jorhat), Mr. Rajib Kumar Kalita and Dr. Satyam Bordoloi from RFRI and Dr, Rajesh Jesudasan (Dean, School of Pharmacy), Ms. Madhuchandra Lahan and Mr. Dibyojyoti Sarmah marked the beginning of a strategic partnership that promises to joint research initiatives, sharing Resources and provide enriched learning opportunities for students etc.

The Dean of SOP, Kaziranga University highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating “This Memorandum of Understanding represents a pivotal moment in our pursuit of academic excellence and innovative research”. Similarly, The Director RFRI also added, “Our collaboration with SOP, Kaziranga University, through this MOU is a major step forward in bridging the gap between advanced research and academic learning”.
